Natural Sunlight Lamp—Circadian Rhythm Lighting
... free shipping included ...
Most modern day indoor lighting wrecks focus and sleep with harsh blue spikes and dim output. Whereas, a blue light free lamp that adjusts to your natural circadian rhythm can help with daytime focus, mood elevation, bedtime cues, and sleep support.
This is where the Sky Portal natural sunlight lamp delivers zero-flicker, circadian-aligned White Light by day, and Deep Amber light evening and bedtime, giving your biology exactly the kind of natural light it evolved to use—when it needs it. Use the natural sunlight lamp at your office, in the living room, anywhere you hang out indoors. Use it as a blue light free night light and blue light free reading light. The goal is to help align your body with the natural circadian rhythm lighting that's found outdoors.
What's the science behind it? It's in our biology. Lighting provides cues for your central nervous system. It's time to wake up, or it's time to wind down for the day. This is because natural light actually has a color spectrum, meaning there's different colors of visible light during different parts of the day.
Our body is hardwired to understand these different colors as cues for our internal clock, to sync to our environment. It's a part of evolution for thousands of years. But then one day there was indoor halogen lighting and bright white LED lights. This Sky Portal natural sunlight lamp is designed to counteract these effects... Great as a Seasonal Affective Disorder Lamp, too!
The Sky Portal natural sunlight lamp is similar to a desk lamp that easily clips onto a table, shelf or chair with a 3-way adjustable arm. It's designed to be used all day in the areas where you work, play and relax indoors. It's like bringing the sunshine inside your office and home.
This natural sunlight lamp uses a custom-engineered white light channel that removes the harsh, eye-straining dark blue spikes found in most indoor lighting. In its place, it delivers a spectrum of light rich in beneficial cyan (OPN4 stimulation) and violet (OPN5 & OPN3 stimulation) wavelengths, balanced with a touch of NIR (near infrared light).
OPN3 & OPN5 are linked to mood regulation, hormonal balance, and mental clarity. Your body's production of OPN4, also known as melanopsin, plays a key role in regulating circadian rhythm, boosting alertness, and supporting stable energy during the day. Together, these non-visual photoreceptors are cues to help you stay focused, resilient, and aligned with your body’s natural cycles.
